MTSS Coach
My name is Mrs. Cummings. I am the MTSS coach at HMS. MTSS is a Multi-Tiered System of Support. As MTSS coach, I support middle school students who are facing academic challenges. I can help in a variety of ways, from providing targeted interventions to students struggling in their studies, to collaborating with teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning environments, and offering guidance and resources to help students navigate middle school academic obstacles effectively. I also collect and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and strategies for optimizing student success.
Any students can use me as a resource! I can help answer questions, guide students to resources, and help them navigate challenges they might encounter at school. Students should send me an email if they would like to receive a specific type of help.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ben; daughters Emory and Lily, dog Hoyt, and my cat named Fiona. I can't wait to help make this a great year for all students!
