Hello and welcome to 7th grade science!
I am extremely excited to be here at Haslett Middle School. In my career, I have previously taught at Morrice Area Schools, teaching 6-8 science in Shiawassee County and Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools, teaching Biology and Anatomy & Physiology in Clarksville, Tennessee. I graduated from Western Governors University with my Bachelors of Science in Secondary Science Education (Biological Sciences) and Grand Canyon University with my Masters of Science in Biology. I am also continuing my education by pursuing my Masters of Science in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology at Western Governors University.
Science has always been a passion of mine. I love showing students new ways of looking at the world through the lens of science. All students are naturally curious and I try to bring out that curiosity when in class.
My wife and I moved back to Mid-Michigan after living in Tennessee for almost 10 years! We, along with our children Leo and Isla, are extremely excited to be here at Haslett! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, playing video games, watching TV, listening to music, and reading. I am a life-long learner and really enjoy learning new skills and hobbies.
I look forward to working with each and every student that walks into my classroom and look forward to a great year!
